You’ve heard the countless stories of how a Pageant Coach can make a difference when competing for a title.

And now you’re wondering do you need a Pageant Coach?

Y’all know I’m an advocate for having a Pageant Coach.

I like to think about pageantry like any other sport.

If you wouldn't compete in a race or a match without working with a coach.

Then you shouldn’t compete in a pageant without one either.

Although I know it can sometimes be hard to find a Pageant Coach or you may not have the budget to hire one.

I do think it is something you should consider when entering a pageant.

Below are some reasons to help you determine if you need a Pageant Coach.

1. You’re a Beginner Pageant Girl

Entering the world of pageantry can be both exciting and overwhelming.

There’s so much to learn and so little time to learn it in.

A Pageant Coach is beneficial because they can show you the ropes.

Many beginner pageant girls struggle with competing.

As they don’t have the insider knowledge that a Pageant Coach has.

Having a Pageant Coach guide you can save you from making a lot of mistakes.

2. You’re Not Seeing the Results You Want

This is not your first pageant and may be it’s not your second pageant.

And for whatever reason you’re unable to crack the code.

You can’t seem to advance to the next level of competition.

Or you’re advancing but you keep falling just short of the crown.

This is when it’s time to call in re-enforcement.

A Pageant Coach is able to point out things that you are or are not doing that is keeping you from moving to the next level.

3. Trying Out a New Pageant System

You've decided to switch things up and enter a new pageant system.

And that's great!

But remember that not all pageants are the same.

Pageant systems vary.

It can be difficult to switch gears and adapt to a new system.

Especially when you've been competing in the same system for quite some time.

You would benefit from hiring a Pageant Coach because they can help you adjust your strategy to meet your new system.

4. You're Competing at an International Level

If ever there was a time to hire a Pageant Coach it would be now.

Competing in an international pageant means lots of competition.

You don't want to leave any thing to chance.

So you should get a Pageant Coach to help you present your best self.

Because this time you're not just representing yourself but you're also representing your country.

And you want to ensure that you're on point.

Still wondering if a Pageant Coach can help you?

If you're asking yourself what can a pageant coach do for me?

Below are are some more benefits of working with a Pageant Coach.

1. Pageant Coaches Help Keep You Focused

When you’re competing in a pageant its important to have someone who will hold you accountable.

I mean let’s be real, we all have things going on in our lives.

Whether it’s school, work, or other responsibilities, you can get distracted.

Coaches also help keep you grounded so you don’t slack off thinking that you’ve got this in the bag.

A Pageant Coach will ensure that you’re taking the right steps to prepare for the pageant.

2. Pageant Coaches Help You Strengthen Your Weaknesses

*Story time*
I once saw a girl compete in a pageant who had a very awkward runway walk.

How did I know it was an awkward runway walk and not the way she walked usually?

Because I saw her sometime after the pageant and she was walking completely fine.

Sans the high heels.

That awkward runway walk is something a coach could have helped her improve on.

I know what you’re thinking. Don’t they have runway lessons leading up to the pageant with a coach?

They do! But some contestants need extra help.

The official Pageant Coach won’t be able to invest the same one on one time with a contestant, like a private coach can.

3. Pageant Coaches Make Sure You Showcase Your Strengths

Let’s say you’re fantastic at runway modeling.

Your coach can assist you in creating a fun walking routine.

Complete with all the turns and Superwoman poses you can nail.

And judges will be impressed.

A good Pageant Coach is going to do everything they can to help you stand out.

4. Pageant Coaches Keep You Looking Like a Queen

Part of the fun in competing in a pageant is getting to buy a new wardrobe.

But it can also be a bit overwhelming.

Having a Pageant Coach can help ease the stress of selecting pageant attire.

If you don’t keep up with fashion trends then you’ll definitely want to lean on a Pageant Coach for advice.

It's easy to get tunnel vision and only focus on competition day wardrobe.

A Pageant Coach will help you stay on top of your game.

They'll help you choose wardrobe for upcoming events.

5. Pageant Coaches Build Your Confidence

Doing well in a pageant has a lot to do with your mentality.

I've seen loads of girls with potential that lack confidence.

Sometimes that lack of confidence comes from feeling unprepared.

A Pageant Coach will do their best to help you prepare for all segments of the competition.

They will give you tips and advice that will help you stand out.

After a few lessons with your Pageant Coach you should see improvements in your performance.

Your confidence level will grow.

Then all the things that once scared you about competing just disappear.

That’s when you know you’re ready.

Final Thoughts

A Pageant Coach can definitely turn your pageant performance around.

I hope the above information on Pageant Coaches has inspired you to consider hiring one.

Think of a Pageant Coach as a secret weapon.

And who couldn't use a secret weapon in a competition?

On competition day, nothing feels better than knowing that you've prepared well.

Until next time xoxo,

T
