I am a public relations professional, social media enthusiast, actress, event host and coach who loves inspiring young women to chase after their dreams by helping them develop their confidence and passion.

At the age of 14, I knew that I wanted to be a working actress. But if you have Caribbean parents then you know how challenging it is to get them on board with any profession that’s not set in an office. 

So in Spring 2011, I enrolled at the University of Tampa to pursue a bachelor's degree in communications. while there I made some amazing friendships and had a lot of memorable experiences. one experience I am most proud of is becoming a sister of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc.

After completing my degree, I returned home where I settled into my career as a public relations professional and co-founded the ‘my dear Melanin movement,’ which is a movement dedicated to celebrating, educating and empowering the melanin community.

However, a part of me could tell that something was missing from my life. So I decided to get back into acting. Since then I’ve been working hard to further develop my craft and learn as much as I can about the industry. 

Being fearless about what sets your soul on fire is not always the easiest thing especially when you’re a wife and a mommy but when you’re passionate about something you usually find ways to make it happen. ;)
