The official Miss World pageant will be held on Thursday, 16 December in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Rashana, who was crowned Miss World Cayman Islands in May, has been spent the last 6 months diligently preparing for the pageant.
According to Miss World Cayman Islands Director, Pamela Ebanks-Small, Rashana mostly received training from members of the Miss World Cayman Islands committee.
Committee Member and owner of Centre Pointe Dance Studio, Sophie Connolly served as Rashana's main trainer, coaching her on talent, top model and traditional dance.
The Miss World Cayman Islands Wardrobe Committee helped with her clothing, National costume and evening gown.
Rashana received fitness training at local gym and pageant sponsor, F45.
Toastmasters were also instrumental in Rashana's preparation, helping her with her interview skills and techniques.
Members of the public played a role as well in conducting mock interviews to help Rashana practice her interview skills.
In addition to her training, Rashana also started her sister series on Instagram, where she has been interviewing other contestants who will be competing for Miss World.
(ppsstt! missed the latest sister series? watch it here.)
One of the requirements for Miss World is that each contestant must produce an introduction video.
Rashana worked alongside Cortez Vernon for her video and you can watch it below.
The intro video highlights Rashana's unwavering self-confidence, Cayman's natural beauty and our most valuable asset, our people.
For Cayman, the pageant will be aired on Logic TV channel 1, the red carpet is at 7 pm and the pageant will air at 8 pm.
"This is an exciting year for Miss World, things are changing, they are bringing back the Beach Body category which they haven't done in about 7 years which is kind like the swimsuit segment." - Pamela Ebanks, Miss World Cayman Islands Director.
Ms. Ebanks-Small went on to say that “the Committee is very proud of Rashana, she's worked very hard to prepare for Miss World and they believe she is ready.”
In honour of the 70th edition of the pageant, the Miss World Cayman Islands Committee has put together a special surprise.
Ms. Ebanks-Small was quite tight-lipped about the surprise, only sharing that it will be revealed around the date of the Miss World pageant and that it will be 'ICONIC'.
It will be revealed on social media so be on the lookout for that surprise.
Fans can support Rashana via social media, particularly by using the Mobstar app.
All you have to do is download the Mobstar app and start liking Rashana's photos, as each ‘like’ counts as one vote.
"Rashana is actually in the top 10 on Mobstar, which is unbelievable for such a small country. So to keep her up there we really need more people on Mobstar liking her photos." - Pamela Ebanks, Miss World Cayman Islands Director.
