Miss Hawaii’s final question: What has experiencing a global pandemic taught you about life?
Her response: Well...of course this global pandemic is very unprecedented and has taught me a lot about life. For me, especially, it has taught me to appreciate my family. I got to spend so much time with my family, my little sister and my little brother I love them dearly and I know that soon in Spring I will be going off to college and I won't have those precious moments with them. So really, it's just to cherish those around me and really just so honourable that I get to represent my home of Hawaii, so just being at home is so wonderful.

Miss Mississippi's final question: Our country is more polarized than any other time in recent memory. In your opinion what must be done to bring our nation back together.
Her response: I think this is an issue of trust. we've lost trust in the systems that seem to keep our country running. From the media to business, to our government and it's all about restoring that trust and coming together and working together to heal and trust in these systems if we want to continue to be the greatest nation, we're going to have to set a better example.
The final 5 were also tasked with a final statement.
Miss Mississippi's final statement was on Gun Laws.
Her statement: As someone who grew up in a home with guns I learned at an early age how to load, how to fire and gun safety and I think that education should be available to everyone. I believe that we should require people to pass training and safety course before they're allowed to purchase a gun and before receiving a permit. I think it's important that we not ban guns because obviously, people will find a way to get what they want anyway, but I think it's our second amendment right, we just need more safety surrounding that.
